Matthew Sidgreaves, Head of Growth Lancashire
Matthew joined the company in 2016 following more than 10 years’ experience of working in economic regeneration and business support. Following spells as Business Growth Manager and Head of Operations, Matthew became lead officer for the company in 2018. Matthew oversees the delivery of Growth Lancashire’s annual business plan, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and vision. Matthew works closely with the company’s Board, along with other key stakeholders from the public, private and third sectors. He is committed to ensuring that the company fulfills its core values, which are to be impartial, collaborative, honest and hardworking. In 2014, Matthew completed his MBA, with his dissertation focusing on the high growth potential of small and medium sized enterprises.
Vladimir Pejcinovic, Lead for Local Authority Services & Business Development
Vladimir joined Growth Lancashire from Hyndburn Borough Council, where for 10 years he worked in Economic Development and Regeneration, demonstrating his ability at progressing complex projects and developing strategic partnerships. Prior to this, Vladimir spent 20 years working in the private sector including setting up and running his own companies. Vladimir is responsible for developing, promoting and delivering services to Local Authorities and other prospective customers across the public, private and third sectors. Services delivered span a range of functions, including notable expertise across conservation, heritage and culture, aligning with the company’s vision for Lancashire to maximise its potential, capitalising on its economic strengths and its built and natural environment. Vladimir holds a higher level management qualification and a degree in Law from Lancaster University.
Janet Doolan, Lead for Business Support Services
Janet joined the company in 2015 and now manages the company’s Business Support projects and staff, including the contract to provide a Business Relationship Management service for Boost, Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub. Janet has acquired significant experience in developing and managing a wide variety of public funded support programmes over the last 15 years, working extensively with both businesses and individuals to maximise their growth ambitions. Janet has contract managed multi-million pound public sector projects and programmes in Cumbria and Lancashire, and has additional expertise in developing employment and skills policies and strategies. Janet has a degree from the University of London, post-graduate diploma from the University of Strathclyde and a management qualification. She is also proud to be Vice Chair of Governors at an Outstanding Special School in Blackburn.
