We’re Recruiting: Ecology Officer

Growth Lancashire is seeking an experienced and motivated Ecology Officer to play a key role in establishing a new ecology service for Lancashire.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow a specialist service, working alongside a high-performing and collaborative team delivering advice and consultancy services across the county.


About the Role

The Ecology Officer will provide ecological advice in relation to development proposals and policy, supporting local authorities to meet their ecological duties in line with national and local policy requirements.

You will be joining a growing organisation with a strong reputation for delivering specialist services across Lancashire, contributing to the protection and enhancement of the county’s natural environment.


Key Details

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
  • Salary: £35,412 – £39,152 per annum (Grade G SCP 24–28)
