Free support helps Fylde company with business projections

02.12.13

A new Fylde business that specialises in the supply, installation and commissioning of hi-tech interactive screens and public address systems, has received free support to get the business off to a flying start.

AV2events in Lytham St Annes provide their technologies to the educational, corporate, commercial and event sectors, and more. They also provide content design and management systems for the technology.

Business owner Lee Wilson wanted support with business planning and cash flow forecasts to ensure his business was heading in the right direction. He sought help through Start Up Lancashire, a free business programme funded by the European Regional Development Fund and run by Regenerate Pennine Lancashire and local partners.

The programme provided Lee with access to free workshops and offered free, ongoing mentoring support to help him as his business develops.

Lee said: “I spotted an opportunity to set up the business when working for a leading manufacturer of interactive learning provisions and haven’t looked back since. The free support was invaluable and I hope to employ an additional team of AV engineers in the short term to satisfy customer demand.”
