Growth Lancashire is a delivery partner for Boost, Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub. We provide Boost’s Business Relationship Management service and have had the privilege of meeting and supporting more than 450 small and medium sized businesses across Lancashire during the last 12 months.
Feedback from these meetings is overwhelmingly positive, with 95% of businesses satisfied with the service they have received and the same number indicating that they would recommend the service to someone they know.
Yet, we offer no direct support ourselves – so what do we offer, why is it useful and why should you take advantage of the service?
Boost employs a team of highly qualified and experienced Relationship Managers who help to deliver the wider Boost Programme. Day-in-day-out we are having robust #growthconversations with Lancashire’s growth-hungry businesses.
Irrespective of whether a new start or well-established company, businesses tell us that they obtain value from meeting with a Relationship Manager where they can discuss their aspirations for growth, identify potential barriers and importantly, jointly-identify key areas of support that will benefit the business the most and then keep in touch on a regular basis.
Lancashire is a wonderful place to grow a business. Over the last year, Boost’s Relationship Managers have worked with more than 50 forms of support being delivered by more than 30 different organisations – including Lancashire’s Universities, Chambers of Commerce and other Boost support, such as mentoring.
However, it is important to remember that our Relationship Managers have nothing to sell and therefore our advice is impartial and solely aimed at benefitting you. In short, we are honest brokers who have an understanding of the business support landscape across the region that, for many companies, can be off putting due to its seeming complexity.
