Growth Lancashire was appointed by West Lancashire Borough Council to undertake a review of the Chapel Gallery, a cultural and visitor attraction in the market town of Ormskirk. The Gallery had recently been refurbished and bookings were increasing for various activities in the building. The Council sought to establish the income generation potential of the Gallery.
Growth Lancashire was able to draw upon the team’s previous experience of developing and maximising the potential of cultural and heritage assets, such as our involvement in the Pennine Lancashire Museums project, and the development of a Heritage Investment Strategy for the sub-region. We were pleased to report a series of findings and recommendations, and we look forward to working with the Council as required to support their continued development of the Gallery as an asset for the town centre.
