Illustrator and designer Kate Roberts is bouncing back with style, thanks to a new business support programme.
In February 2012, Kate was made redundant from her post as a part-time lecturer in Graphic Design at Blackburn College. With help from Regenerate Pennine Lancashire, she has now started her own business.
Her business deals with a range of commissions including bespoke portraits, corporate design and illustrations for print and web content.
Kate benefited from specialist guidance which has helped her refine her business model to ensure her specialist skills and passion will fund the development of her brand and eventually lead to employing local people.
Regenerate Pennine Lancashire has a number of FREE start up support programmes specifically designed to help people like Kate.
