Growth Lancashire is contracted to deliver business advice on behalf of Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, Boost. It is a role which the company has performed since the inception of Boost in 2012. Our experienced Relationship Managers are focused on helping Lancashire’s ambitious businesses to succeed by providing advice and matching them to relevant funded support programmes or other provision. We pride ourselves on building meaningful and lasting relationships with the County’s businesses.

Due to our central role in delivering Boost, and long-standing relationships with Local Authorities, Universities, finance organisations, Chambers of Commerce, and private sector partners, we are uniquely and impartially placed to facilitate the best package of support to help grow your business. Collectively, our Relationship Managers have more than 100 years’ experience of helping businesses like yours and we hold unrivalled, up to date knowledge, of national and local business support products.

Employed by Growth Lancashire since 2016, Tim is one of the company's Business Relationship Managers working on the Boost programme, and brings over 25 years of experience of working with SMEs. He specialises in strategy development and implementation, sales, marketing, and change management.

Tim began his career in sales with the food industry. He has worked in a variety of sales and marketing positions in the UK and Far East. He also has extensive experience in the University sector (Durham, Bolton, Salford and Manchester) teaching up to MBA level.

Tim has an Honours degree in History and a Master’s degree in Marketing as well as being a fully qualified lecturer (PGCE).
