Regenerate are pleased to announce three new members on our board of directors to represent private sector businesses in Lancashire.

Our new board members are Ian Brown (of Graham & Brown Ltd), Stephen Greenhalgh (J & J Ormerod Plc) and Tim Webber (Barnfield Contruction). They will compliment our existing board, which also includes Chief Executives from Pennine Lancashire’s Local Authorities. Our Chairman is Dennis Mendoros, who is Managing Director of aerospace firm Euravia and also on the board for the Lancashire LEP.

Regenerate’s board contribute to decisions that will influence how businesses are supported across Lancashire. In the last year Regenerate has been successful in bidding for over £11m to help businesses, through the European Regional Development Fund and rounds 2 and 3 of the Government’s Regional Growth Fund.

Ian Brown is Director at Blackburn based wallpaper and home decor business Graham & Brown. In recent years, Ian has facilitated the creation of partnerships between secondary schools in Blackburn with Darwen and larger companies in the area.

Ian said of his inclusion on the board: “At Graham & Brown we source from Lancastrian businesses wherever possible to reduce environmental impacts and boost the local economy. Regenerate’s support strengthens businesses in the area for the benefit of everyone. I look forward to working alongside the other board members.”

Stephen Greenhalgh has been joint Managing Director of kitchen and bathroom manufacturers J & J Ormerod plc since 2003. J & J Ormerod is one of Rossendale’s biggest employers, employing over 370 local people.

Stephen said: “I was honoured to be asked to represent Rossendale on the board at Regenerate as it has a vital role in promoting enterprise within East Lancashire. I feel that I can work towards maximising the value that Lancashire’s businesses and entrepreneurs deserve.”

Tim Webber is Chairman and Managing Director of Pendle based Development Company, Barnfield Construction Ltd. Tim previously sat for four years on the Board of Directors for the Lancashire Economic Partnership and won the Lancastrian of the Year Award in 2010.

Tim said: “I’m looking part of being part of Regenerate’s board, so that we can work towards making Pennine Lancashire a better place to live and work – something we feel very passionately about at Barnfield.”
