A new clothing company is dressed for success after receiving free business support to help them start up.
Simon Tabaczynski set up Darwen company Arlen UK, a designer, manufacturer and supplier of protective, corporate and specialised clothing.
The businessman received free support to grow his business from the economic development company, Regenerate Pennine Lancashire.
He attended a free start-up bootcamp and received help from a specialist coach on running a business, particularly about marketing.
Regenerate offers a variety of support programmes and funding to help both new and established businesses.
Simon said: “Regenerate were a great help in driving the business forward in the early stages. The bootcamps gave me a real grounding of what is needed in running your own business.”
The bootcamp was delivered as part of Regenerate’s Pennine LEAP programme which is funded by the European Regional Growth Fund.
