A new Preston based business that helps recruit people for the Social Care sector has received free start up support to help it grow.

A Lancashire based fruit juice and sauce manufacturer is set to create 13 new jobs, with support from a Government grant. To help purchase required machinery needed to grow, Fruitapeel were able to source a non-repayable £150,000 grant through Regenerate Pennine Lancashire, supported by the Government’s Regional Growth Fund.

A new Chorley based company that installs stone columns into earth to strengthen soft ground for construction projects has created 14 jobs, with support from a government grant.

A Preston based manufacturer of nutritional health supplements will create two new jobs thanks to a new e-business system, which is being developed with the help of a free business support programme.
