An enterprising teenager from Burnley has been awarded a bursary to help him grow a business he set up with fellow school pupils.

Sam Calvert, who will run on Preston New Road due to his charity work, is one of the first recipients of the Pennine Lancashire Youth Enterprise Fund, which awards bursaries to young people between 14 and 25 that demonstrate a flair for enterprise.
